I’m originally from Virginia and came to Maryland with stops in California, Germany & Washington state along the way. I work as an accountant for MetCom. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, Alan, for almost 30 years. We have two grown children and we’re going to be grandparents next year!!
My son Taylor’s dog Ashes is still at home with us, Taylor had to relinquish custody, to help me with my empty nest syndrome.
I’ve been working with the middle school girls since Taylor was in middle school. When Linda Shaffer first approached me about working with middle school girls, I thought, “You’ve got to be kidding!” After much prayer I agreed to try it and totally changed my mind about middle school girls -
they are amazing.
I’m usually there on Wednesday nights and have helped with confirmation. I have been truly blessed by the time I’ve spent with these kids.
In my free time I enjoy gardening, boating & spending time with family & friends.
